Glenageary Centre
We proposed an ambitious town centre project at a pivotal ‘gateway’ to Dun Laoghaire, occupying a 175,000 sq. ft. space. The design includes a public square in the centre, flanked by sheltered pedestrian streets. We envisioned this development as a vibrant series of public spaces.
At ground level, we proposed retail units in a wide variety of sizes. For the upper floors, we envisaged restaurants, a medical centre, a 68-bed residential care facility, flexible office units, and 13 large apartments. We enclosed the public space to the south, created urban street frontages right to the street edge, and moved all car parking and servicing underground.
